Franschhoek Summer Concerts
The Rural Cape Music Saturday Sunset Supper Concerts at Solms-Delta is a collection of informal outdoor late afternoon live concerts that bring the best of the rural Cape music and dance culture together on a weekly basis during the festive summer months - this season’s concerts ended 27 February and they will start up again in October 2010.
Paired with a traditional Cape cuisine from the farm’s Fyndraai restaurant, these are not to be missed. Regional Cape folk heritage flavours - vastrap, ghoema, jazz and boeremusiek - take centre stage, while visitors enjoy both a musical and culinary feast. The ‘Kaapse kos’ buffet caters for both the herbivores and carnivores among us, and dishes for children are also available.
The next Summer Concert season commences in October 2010.
