Our team felt very lekker when we recently won an award of recognition for our 2011 rosé. Solms-Delta Lekkerwijn 2011 was rated with 4 stars and secured a position in the Top 6 2013 Classic Wine Awards.

This 2011 vintage is a blend of Mourvèdre (49%), Grenache (35%) and Viognier (6%).  The wine was matured for twelve months in seasoned French oak. It is complex and full-bodied with an intense fruit flavour, an elegant finish and an alluring deep salmon colour.

Solms-Delta Lekkerwijn 2011 is available at selected retailers nationwide, from the estate or order through our eShop (free delivery within South Africa – min 6 bottle order).

The fourth annual Delta Draf will be held on Saturday 13 April 2013. This off-road race – 10km and 5km fun run – rates as one of the most scenic on the running calendar as it follows a route through working vineyards and along the banks of the Dwars River, set against the backdrop of the majestic Groot and Klein Drakenstein mountains. The second annual Delta Trap will be held on Sunday 21 April 2013. This largely off-road cycle race consists of 20km loops starting and ending at Solms-Delta and is made up of approximately 25% tar and 75% off road. The off road section is made up of mainly farm roads, with a mix of sandy sections, some harder surfaces with stones and some short sections of single track.
