Solms-Delta wine estate, 15 km outside Franschhoek in the Western Cape Winelands, has been named Top Wine Tourism Destination in the region’s inaugural District Municipality Mayoral Tourism Awards.
The Tourism Awards initiative is planned to be an annual event at which the Winelands’ tourism industry leaders will be recognised for the value that their entrepreneurial efforts contribute to the region. Announced this week, the awards were hosted by Executive Mayor of the Cape Winelands Region, Cornelius De Bruyn.
